Today i will talk about the major difference
between the book and the movie. When i first started reading the book i was
given a lot of background about the relationship between bill and George. We
can see that in the book they have a good bond. The book also gives the fears
that George has. While the movie does show the relationship between bill and
George it doesn't show a lot about George. George is seen as a minor character
in the movie which i think is kind of dumb because he was a big part of the whole
story. I feel like the movie should have given George more screen time and more
background. Another thing i felt was kind of odd was that the movie didn't add an
important character, the person who found George. also one thing the movie took
out of the book and never added but instead replace it was the fact that Darry
had become kind of gay friendly and also it never showed the death of Adrian
who was beaten by three guys and then thrown off the bridge, and this was the
first time Pennywise reappeared after the children attacked him in the sewage. The
movie replaces the Adrian scene with a Pennywise killing a little girl and
leaving a picture of George. I felt that the movie should have added the Adrian
part of the book because it would make the story more sense. Sad that the movie
took out many important part of the story . The movie also didn't add the
background of patty, which I’m glad it didn't because adding that part to the
movie would be useless since patty never saw or even had a experience with
Pennywise. but most of the movie does have part of the book which makes the
movie decent enough. i hope that the 2017 reboot have more adaption of the book
and a little more background about each main character . Also explain how
Pennywise arrive to Darry and when his rampage carnage started. This is
my final blog for IT by Stephen King .
